With the advent of hair clippers, you can quickly style your hair. Professional hairdressers prefer the American manufacturer Remington because of its ease of use. Most importantly, the clipper operates on both mains power and a rechargeable battery.
There are two types of batteries for trimmers:
- Lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries are used in modern models, they are durable and have increased capacityThe voltage of the lithium power supply varies in the range of 2.4-3.6 V;
- Nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries are considered somewhat outdated, but they are still used. To maximize battery life, you should let them discharge completely and then recharge them to 100%. If users fail to follow this recommendation, their capacity will decrease over time.
Depending on the model, the battery lasts for 30-40 minutes of use. An indicator on the device shows the battery level.
Manufacturers recommend using the same type of battery when replacing a battery. Nickel-metal batteries are cheaper, but replacing a lithium battery with one will result in expensive repairs.
