Battery 357A

The 357A battery is rarely found on store shelves. More often, you'll see its analogs: LR44, AG13and A 76. Despite the different names, they all have a voltage of 1.5 volts and capacityabout 100 mAh. These are its main characteristics.

A battery is a flattened metal cylinder. On one side, a positive sign is marked with the characteristic values. On the other side, there is nothing; this pole is the negative pole. Between the poles, there is a layer made of a special insulating material that prevents short circuits.

This element cannot be charged, as it is designed differently than a battery. It may heat up and leak during charging. The worst case scenario is an explosion. This could result in serious injury.

Before purchasing, check the condition of the 357 A battery. Its cardboard packaging should be in good condition. Make sure the battery is very recent. It's best not to buy power sources that have been sitting on the shelf for more than 2-3 years. If you're unsure whether an alternative is suitable, take your device to the store and have the salesperson select the correct power source.

It is not recommended to throw away element 357a; it is better to take it to a special collection point.
