Maxell Company

The year 1961 can be considered the founding year of the Maxell company, when they separated from the NITTO DENCO Corp. corporation, which specialized in the development of batteries.

At first the company produced dry power supplies, and in 1963 Maxell produced the first batch of alkaline batteries.

Soon, in 1964, the brand was renamed to HITACHI MAXELL, Ltd.

The business of the Japanese manufacturer Maxell then grew and expanded successfully, with representative offices and factories opening all over the world: in America, Europe, and Asia.

Such great success can be explained by the fact that the company kept pace with the times and always responded to the current needs of various years.

Previously, the organization produced floppy disks, video cassettes, and various storage media for computers.

The company currently produces:

  • optical lenses;
  • professional audio, video, digital cassettes;
  • headphones;
  • memory cards and other accessories;
  • acoustics;
  • optical media (CDs, DVDs, Blue Ray);
  • batteries (including lithium power supplies, micro batteries, nickel-metal hybrid and nickel-cadmium cells.)

For over 50 years, the Japanese organization has been producing high-quality goods and surpassing many competitors in the implementation and development of innovative technologies and materials.
