Essentially, the replacement principle is the same for all similar devices. The method described below can also be applied to speakers from other brands, such as Ariston.

You don't need to open the device's casing. Simply locate the plastic case on the lower right side. This is where the batteries are located. To access them, simply twist the flap or press the latch and pull the cover downward. Then, remove the batteries and purchase new ones at the store. Neva gas water heaters typically use R20 batteries. They resemble round barrels. There may be one or two of them.

Install new ones, close the lid, and test the device! It should work! If it doesn't, then the reason why the device isn't starting is something else entirely. It could be something wrong with the membrane.

Some speakers may have slightly different instructions. However, the overall replacement procedure is similar. Look again at the lower right corner. There's a small tab that secures the battery cover. To replace the batteries, rotate the tab along the long line and press the center of the box. A special case will then pop out, briefly instructing you on how to insert the batteries according to polarity. After installing the new batteries, place the container back in place and tighten it until it clicks into place.
