Jupiter batteries first appeared in the Soviet Union. They were produced under the brand name "Jupiter M" and assigned the code 343. At the time, these batteries were produced in a single standard size: 5 cm long and 2.62 cm in diameter. They weighed approximately 37 grams. Two types of batteries were produced: salineand alkaline.
Currently, the Jupiter trademark is owned by Skipfire Ltd, based in Cyprus. Its main production facility is in China, from where the product is imported to the CIS countries. This is where the main consumer market for the product is located. Today, a wide range of products are produced under the trademark:
- Power elements of types 9V, C, AAA, D, AA;
- Lithium batteries;
- LED floodlights and lanterns;
- Extension cords on a reel, in the form of a cord and on a frame;
- LED lamps;
- Corrugated PVC pipes;
- Undercutters;
- Forks;
- Cable channels;
- Metal hoses;
- Junction boxes;
- Switches;
- Sockets of different types;
- Terminals and tips.
Although Jupiter is not a market leader, its products are widely distributed in Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. Its batteries are affordable, meet required quality standards, and are readily available in all electronics stores.
