The new version of Fallout 4 features a nuclear battery, also known as power cells. It's used to power your armor. If you manage to find the power cells, you'll have nothing to fear throughout the game.
Where can I find a battery in Fallout 4?
To find a power source, open the map. All locations with batteries will immediately appear. They are marked with red circles with lightning bolts inside. Incidentally, there are only 71 of these zones.
You can also get power sources from the specialized trading shop in Diamond City. However, you'll have to pay a hefty price of 9 units for them.
If you complete the quest "Cleanup", you will also acquire this item.

How to charge a nuclear power cell in Fallout?
Unfortunately, there's no way to recharge a dead battery. Once used, the battery disappears from the backpack.

First, you'll need the core ID for the protective armor. It looks like this: 00075FE4
Algorithm for obtaining it:
- Open console.
- Enter the command player.additem 00075FE4 1 – the 1 represents the number of cores required. Be sure to specify this parameter; many people forget to do so.
- Check if it works.
You can enter any number of cores you require. Even 9999999 will be fulfilled!
