DTM battery

Delta DTM batteries are quite popular in the current market. They have found application in many areas of everyday life. Essentially, it's a lead-acid battery from the company DeltaIt's made using AGM technology. This means the electrolytic fluid is absorbed and easily maintained at a constant level.

DTM batteries feature a more advanced grid system. They are made from the purest remelted lead. This increases the service life and improves discharge characteristics.

Where are they used?

  1. Cash registers.
  2. Medical devices.
  3. Backup power sources or UPS.
  4. Portable devices.

Can be used in two modes: Cyclic and buffer.

Main advantages and some features

Because the engineers used a sealed design, electrolyte leakage is impossible. There's no need to add water, thanks to internal gas recombination.

The DTM battery can be transported by rail, air, and road. It is fully UL compliant.

The battery can be used in various positions, except upside down. Calcium-alloyed lead plates provide increased energy density.
DTM battery has reduced self-discharge.

Delta's products fully comply with all major standards, such as:

  • GOST R IEC 60896-2-99;
  • GOST standard 12.2.007.12-88;
  • GOST R IEC 61056-1-2012;

It can operate in buffer mode for about 6 years. In cyclic mode, it will last 1,200 cycles, provided the deep discharge is 30%.

It is recommended to store this battery at temperatures ranging from -35°C to +60°C. Charging should be performed when the temperature is between -10°C and +60°C.

Most stores provide up to 1 year warranty on this device.

Constant voltage charging at 25 degrees Celsius is recommended.

  • Buffer mode 2.25 – 2.3 V/el
  • Cyclic mode 2.35 – 2.4 V/el

The discharge is performed at temperatures from -20°C to +60°C.

Thus, DTM delta batteries have acceptable characteristics and are capable of lasting for a long time.
